After the second world war, it is the old sportsman Francis Pélissier, known as "Le Grand ", which becomes the director of the cycles La Perle.

It then directs prestigious sportsmans like Edouard Fachleitner, André Darrigade, Hugo Koblet, Ferdinand Kübler, Jacques Dupont,...

Hugo Koblet wins the Tour de France 1951 on bicycle La Perle (and Méphisto rims...)

Koblet 1951

At the beginning of the years 1950, the general fall of the bicycles sales returns very difficult the maintenance of a race team for companies like La Perle. This is why the arrival of the commercial firms, others that cyclists, in the world of races made it possible to save the sportsmans of unemployment.

Francis Pélissier and La Perle knew a brilliant year 1953 with the engagement of a young 19 years old sportsman, Jacques Anquetil, who won the Grand Prix des Nations.

Unfortunately, the firm filed for bankruptcy in 1955.
